Nuevo disco de Michael Angelo Batio: ‘Shred Force 1’
El nuevo álbum del guitarrista Michael Angelo Batio, “Shred Force 1: The Essential Michael Angelo Batio“, saldrá a la venta el próximo 14 de abril a través de Rat Pak Records. El disco es una mezcla entre recopilatorio y álbum de versiones de algunos de sus temas de rock y heavy metal preferidos.
El disco contiene diversas colaboraciones como las del cantante de Queensrÿche Todd LaTorre, el guitarrista de Metal Church Kurdt Vanderhoo, el bajista de Alice Cooper Chuck Garric, el guitarrista Craig Blackwell y el baterista de Metal Church y TSO Jeff Plate, todos ellos tocan en la versión de Rush “What You’re Doing”. Canción que podéis escuchar a continuación. Mark Tremonti de Alter Bridge junto con el Todd LaTorre también colaboran en la versión de Deep Purple “Burn”. Otras versiones son el tema de Eric Clapton Slowhand, “RRR” de Randy Rhoads” y “Diamond”, tributo a Dimebag Darrell de Pantera.
La canción instrumental “8 Pillars of Steel”, que presenté hace un tiempo y “Juggernaut” también se encuentran en el disco. Recordad que cuentan con las colaboraciones de Jeff Loomis, Rusty Cooley, George Lynch, Guthrie Govan, Michael Romeo, Mike Lepond, Elliot Dean Rubinson, Andrea Martongelli, Craig Goldy y Dave Reffet.
